with Bruce Lightner, the Dave and Barbara Helland, and Bruce and Winnie
Meyers.
Bruce and Dave went to the November 1997 Baja 1000 races with the Manx Club.
A photo collage resulted and
simple Web page resulted.
We made our first trip to Anza-Borrego in 1998 with Bruce and Winnie Meyers and
took a few pictures with the
digital camera. We were scouting routes for the April 1998 Manx Club event.
We made our second trip to Anza-Borrego in 1998 (overnight this
time) with five buggies and took a few
desert flower pictures with the digital camera.
Trip report and photo collage from our 1000+
mile March 1998 "death to stragglers" Baja run (to the Bay of L.A. and
back), plus photos of new
friends we promised to put on the 'Net.
We went on the November 1999 Baja 1000 trip with the Manx Dune Buggy Club.
We abandoned the Manx Club at Mike's Sky Rancho and headed for the
Bay of Conception this year...a two week trip.
